Wintun Official Statement

Firstly may we apologise for the lack of an official statement before now, this was due to legalities beyond our control.

Wintun has been through hard times and in July 2007 finally went into receivership. Following these unfortunate events Wintun was placed up for sale, Norseal Ltd at the time saw these events taking place and offered to buy Wintun and as a conclusion Norseal Ltd is now the parent company of Wintun.

The ‘old’ Wintun literature is now void, particularly in regards to specification as Wintun will no longer be manufacturing any previous ranges so please remove all current literature from your library, we would thank you for doing this immediately to avoid specifying old lines. That said Wintun will be providing a new technical manual that will supersede all previous versions bringing a brand new range of products into the market place.

What is happening next?

Wintun has a tremendous brand name across the industry and we wouldn’t want that to change, in fact although we have knocked down Wintun we are reconstructing the company from the ground up, bigger and better than before. Yes Wintun is still here and re-launching the company in 2008.

Customer Service - Following in our parent company’s footsteps Wintun will be placing customer service on the top of our agenda, we understand and commend the fact that customers respect a company that makes minimum mistakes and when they do happen, rectifies them without hassle to the customer.

Top Quality Products - All of our products will be made from the best grades of material that is suitable for the application, although this is not represented entirely in our prices! We have low overheads by working with our parent company so we can keep prices extremely competitive.

Quick Turn Around - We aim to deliver all ex-stock items ordered before 5pm the next working day before noon. That is our standard service, you don’t have to wait 3-10 days for delivery with Wintun!
